In the Flashback Habitat contemporary art center complex, a former orphanage and birth clinic, in the tallest building where the ' mater ' sign stands out, the house for auteur and art films is born, which intends to host and welcome the contemporary audiovisual arts movement through screenings, reviews, festivals, exhibitions and editorial projects.

 

mAFF will host an international selection of 25 short audiovisual works (max 20 min) that represent, interpret or simply pay homage to the archetype of the mother in all its forms.
For the first edition mAFF intends to tell the state of audiovisual art through international authors, artists and directors who discuss the theme mater (MOTHER/MOM) with productions between 2020 and 2025.

Registrations are open to works of fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and video art.
